In the last week, we had a couple very notable things happen. Firstly, as we talked about on the Drauger OS Podcast, a review was written about us on DistroWatch. If you want to learn more about that, go listen to our latest episode.
Around Wednesday or Thursday, we also received news that a Spanish blog, LinuxAdictos, also wrote an article about Drauger OS! This caused an explosion of community was completely unprecedented, but welcome!
Since then, we have had at least 5 new people in our community, which is a massive explosion compared to what we normally see (maybe 1 new person a month or so?). It’s a welcome change to see so many new people asking questions and offering to test things.

In other news, we have made a little progress with Calamares. So far we are having an issue where rync keeps throwing an error, saying:
lsetxattr(...,security.selinux): operation not supported
And no amount of Googling is yielding helpful results, and we are currently making an issue on the Calamares GitHub page, in the hopes of figuring out what has gone wrong.
In the mean time, we have begun working on adding locale support to apps in Drauger OS that were made in-house, as they are currently only in English, and it is something we have been needing to do for a while. Currently, we are building the templates translators should use in order to make both their lives, and developer’s lives, easier.
Despite the amount of work there is, in the end it should make Drauger OS much more approachable for everyone, new and experienced users alike.
